Cybercab Exterior and Interior Features: A Visual Tour
Before you step inside, take a moment to familiarise yourself with Cybercab’s layout. Unlike a traditional vehicle, Cybercab has no steering wheel, no accelerator or brake pedal, and no glove box — every interaction happens through the central touchscreen or the Robotaxi app on your phone. The sections below walk you through what you’ll find on the outside and what greets you once the butterfly doors swing open.
Exterior Features #
Door Button #
Press the button on the window sill (B-pillar quarter applique) to open or close a door manually from outside. The button overrides the automatic sensor if needed.
Lightbars #
The front lightbar changes to a color assigned specifically to your ride — check the Robotaxi app to confirm the match. The rear lightbar illuminates red. Both lightbars flash as hazard lights whenever Cybercab is parked at pickup or drop-off.
No Front Trunk #
Cybercab has no frunk (front trunk). The hood cannot be opened. Store all luggage in the rear trunk only.
Rear Trunk #
The rear trunk holds up to 220 lbs (100 kg) across 20.2 cu ft (572 L) of space. Access it while Cybercab is in Park with hazards flashing.
Interior Features #
Two Seats #
Cybercab seats two passengers. Head supports are integrated into the seat backs and are not separately adjustable. There is no steering wheel, no accelerator pedal, no brake pedal, and no glove box.
Cabin Camera #
A cabin camera is located near the dome lights. It monitors occupancy and assists Robotaxi Support during a support call or safety event. Do not block or obscure the camera at any time.
Dome Lights #
Touch the lens of either dome light to toggle it on or off. Dome lights turn on automatically when doors unlock or open, and whenever Cybercab is in Park in low-light conditions.
Stop Button #
A red STOP button is located between the two dome lights. Press it to request an immediate pull-over and connect to Robotaxi Support.
Climate Control Vents #
Vents distribute heated or cooled air throughout the cabin. You can adjust fan speed and redirect airflow from the touchscreen or the Robotaxi app.
Central Touchscreen #
The central touchscreen is your main control panel. Use it to open and close doors, start your ride, adjust climate and seats, and play media.
Door Lever #
Gently lift the door lever to open the door from inside. Pulling the lever fully upward activates the emergency mechanical release — use this only if Cybercab loses power or you are in immediate danger.
USB-C Charge Ports #
USB-C charge ports are available inside the cabin. Use them to keep your devices powered during your ride.
Window Buttons #
Window buttons are located below the touchscreen. Press a button inward to lower the window; pull it to raise the window.
The STOP button between the dome lights is for emergencies only. Pressing it requests an immediate pull-over and opens a line to Robotaxi Support. Do not press it unless you are in genuine danger or need urgent assistance. If your life is at risk, call 911 before contacting Robotaxi Support.
Touchscreen at a Glance #
The central touchscreen organises all in-ride controls in one place. Here is a quick reference to where everything lives.
Door Controls #
Bottom corners of the touchscreen show Open Door and Close Door icons for manual door operation during the ride. The middle of the screen shows the Open icon used to exit Cybercab at the end of your trip.
Seat Controls #
Touch the seat icon on the touchscreen bottom bar to open seat controls. Use the arrows to recline each seat independently. Move both seats forward or backward together using the forward/back arrows.
Support Button #
Touch the Support button to initiate a voice call with Robotaxi Support directly through the cabin’s built-in microphone and speakers. An orange indicator on the menu bar shows when the mic is active.
Cabin Temperature #
Touch the temperature display to reveal full climate controls: target temperature, fan speed (Low / Medium / High), and per-vent airflow settings.
Volume Controls #
Adjust media volume directly from the touchscreen. Volume preferences are saved in your passenger profile and apply to future rides.
Status Bar #
The status bar at the top of the touchscreen displays telltales, door-lock status, cabin camera and microphone activity indicators, and airbag status — all at a glance.
App Launcher #
The App Launcher appears on the touchscreen once your trip begins. Use it to access music, podcasts, arcade games, and other media. Some services may require you to sign in with your own account. All personal data is removed from Cybercab when your trip ends.
