Touchscreen Controls and Features During Your Cybercab Ride

Once your ride begins, the touchscreen and Robotaxi app give you full control over comfort, entertainment, and navigation — all without a driver to ask. The touchscreen displays your trip progress and ETA throughout the journey, and the App Launcher unlocks music, podcasts, and arcade games the moment your ride starts.

You must remain seated with your seat belt securely fastened for the entire duration of your trip — including during stops. This rule applies even when the Cybercab is not in motion. If the Cybercab detects improper seat belt usage, it may pull over or cancel your trip.

Key Touchscreen Actions #

The touchscreen puts every in-cabin control at your fingertips. Use it to manage climate and seats, browse entertainment, monitor your trip, and get help — all without needing to ask a driver.

Climate #

Touch the temperature display on the touchscreen to expand the full climate panel. From there you can:

Set your preferred cabin temperature Choose fan speed: Low, Medium, or High Turn off the vent directed at your seat by touching and holding the air wave icon next to it

The Cybercab automatically manages heating, air conditioning, airflow distribution, and fan operation. You cannot fully turn off climate control, but individual vents can be silenced per passenger. All climate settings are also accessible from the Robotaxi app.

Seats #

Tap the seat icon on the bottom bar of the touchscreen to open seat controls. Use the on-screen arrows to:

Recline the backrest for your individual seat Move both seats forward or backward together

Head supports are integrated into the seat and are not adjustable. Keep your seat back reclined less than 35 degrees from vertical while the vehicle is in motion. Seat adjustments are also available in the Robotaxi app.

Entertainment #

The App Launcher becomes available on the touchscreen as soon as your trip begins. From the launcher you can access:

Music and podcasts for audio entertainment Arcade games for a more interactive experience Other media including additional streaming options

Some entertainment services — such as music streaming or video platforms — require you to log in to your own account on the Cybercab touchscreen. Have your credentials ready if you want to use a personal library or playlist. All account data and session information is automatically removed from the Cybercab when your trip ends. Your passenger profile saves climate and seat preferences between rides.

Navigation #

Monitor trip progress and your estimated arrival time on the main trip screen throughout the journey. To change your destination mid-ride, use the instructions in the Changing Your Destination section below.

Windows #

Press the window switch (located beneath the touchscreen) inward to lower a window. Pull the switch to raise it. A gentle press gives you a partial opening for light airflow. Note that windows cannot be fully opened at this time.

Dome Lights #

The dome lights turn on automatically when doors unlock, open, or when the Cybercab is in Park. To toggle an individual dome light on or off, touch its lens directly.

Changing Your Destination #

To update your drop-off point during the ride, open the Robotaxi app and tap your current destination. Select Edit and enter the new destination. The Cybercab updates its route automatically.

Requesting a Stop or Support #

If you need to stop the vehicle or speak with someone, two options are available directly on the touchscreen:

Pull Over — requests the Cybercab to stop as soon as it is safe to do so Support — connects you to Robotaxi Support for non-emergency assistance
